A PAPER FAIRY DOOR FOR EMMA

Buongiorno a tutti!!! Come state?

Qui sembra che l'estate sia nel suo pieno...fa davvero un gran caldo...

Oggi ho un progettino "magico" per voi.

In famiglia ci piace credere a tutto ciò che è magico, così ho pensato di realizzare una fairy door per la cameretta di Emma (sapete, queste porte rappresentano un portale per un regno magico).

Non è C-A-R-I-N-I-S-S-I-M-A?!

Hello there! How's it going?

I have a "magical" craft for you today.

In our family we love to believe in everything's magical, so I thought to make a special decor for my little girl's bedroom: a fairy door (you know, fairy doors are thought of as portals to a magic realm).

Isn't it A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E?!

Ecco come l'ho realizzata.
Ho tagliato 8 strisce di 16x2cm da un cartoncino, le ho ricoperte con della carta scrap e le ho incollate insieme.
Here's how I made it.
I cut 8 stripes of 16x2cm from a cardboard, I covered them with some scrapbook paper (I opted for a wood effect paper) and I glued together.

Poi ho scelto la forma della mia porta e l'ho usata per tagliare le strisce di cartone.
Then I chose my door shape and I used it to cut the cardboard stripes.

Adesso è il momento di decorarla...ovviamente, nessun limite alla fantasia!!!

Now it's time to decorate it as you prefer...any limits to immagination!!!!

Ho deciso di mettere questa porta magica sul muro, dietro la scrivania della mia piccolina e vi ho aggiunto una finestrella con una piccola altalena.

I decided to put this sweet fairy door on the wall behind Emma's desktop and I added a little window with a little swing.

Una piccola chiave al centro della porta ha poi dato quel non so che in più, non trovate?

A little "fairy key" in the middle of the doors gave that extra special touch, don't you think?
