MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello my dear friends! I’m so excited to be here today sharing this card with you.

I was so in love with one of the makes Nichol Sphor made for this Simon Says Stamp Stamptember that I had the idea for this card.

I started die cutting two scalloped panel from white cardstock with Trinity Stamps "A-7 Envelope Builder" die set.

I put one aside and I reduced the other one cutting the scalloped borders off.

I then colored the smallest pannel blending salvaged patina and peacock feathers through Lawn Fawn "Snowflake Background” stencil. I darkened edges with walnut stain Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints.

I die cut the adorable snowmen from the Lawn Fawn "Build a Snowman” die set and I colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I also die cut two mugs from different shades of pink textured canvas cardstock with the "Stitched Mug Frame” die set and two white whipped cream with “Stitched Cupcake” die set.

I ink blended the inside of the mugs and the cream with some pink Distress Oxide inks, I darkened with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with white, gold, pink and light blue Distress paints.

I die cut the “Giant Merry Christmas” die set twice from two different shades of  aqua  textured canvas cardstock and I put everything together.

That’s all! I hope you’ll enjoy this card as much as I do.

I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Big hugs, Silvia.

“BoO” a Scrappy Tails Crafts Halloween card

Hello peeps!

Today I’d like to share with you a Halloween card I made with some of the new die sets and stencils by Scrappy Tails Crafts .

I started cutting a 5,5"x4,25" panel from white cardstock and I created my background blending seedles preserved, wilted violet and villainous potion Distress Oxide inks through the "Wonky Spiderweb" stencil. I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints and then I darkened edges with black soot Distress ink.

I die cut a lot of little ghosts with the "Friendly Mini Ghosts" metal dies twice and I attached one above the other with some foam tape to add a bit of dismension.

I put everything together, I added a sentiment that I die cut with some alphabet dies from my stasch and I put some sequins here and there.

That's all. Thank you so much for passing by today and I hope you'll like the card.

I wish you an amazing day. Big spooky hugs, Silvia.

A CHRISTMAS CARD WITH TIM HOLTZ "COZY CHRISTMAS" STAMP SET

 Hi there!

Last week I started working on two cards featuring some stamp sets and stencils by Tim Holtz/ Stampers Anonymous and I think it’s time to share with you the first one.

This is a Christmas card I made using last year stamp set called "Cozy Christmas" and the beautiful "Sparkle" stencil.

I started cutting a 5,5"x4,25" panel from Distress Mixed Media Heavystock and I stamped the two images from the set at the opposite corners of the panel with vintage photo Distress archival ink.

At this point I colored my panel with antique linen and vintage photo Distress spray stain and I darkened edges with walnut stain Distress Oxide ink.

I also stamped some notes from the "Poinsettia" stamp set here and there with ground espresso Distress oxide ink.

I added some texture with the amazing "Cracked Leather" 3D embossing folder, the "Sparkle" stencil and some gold embossing powder.

I also used some traslucent crackle paste and walnut stain Distress crayon on my panel.

I then stamped one of the images on a piece of white paper in black and I colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I cut the panel with Tim Holtz Deckle Torn Edge Trimmer, I darkened with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with some Distress Paints.

I put everything together and that's my card.

Thank you so much for passing by today and I hope you'll enjoy the card. I also take my chance over the new Tim Holtz Addicts Facebook Group challenge with it.

I wish you an amazing day! Big hugs, Silvia.
