WARM WISHES WITH SCRAPPY TAILS CRAFTS

Hello my dear friends! today I'd like to sahre with you a sweet Christmas card featuring some of the new products from the last Scrappy Tails Crafts release called Candlelight Christmas.

I started cutting a rectangle panel from white cardstock and I first ink blended it with spun sugar Distress Oxide ink. I then used the beautiful "Slimline Snowflake Corner" stencil and kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide ink to add a pattern on my base.

To build the gingerbread house I cut a rectangle from kraft cardstock and I soft ink blending borders with white ink. I then decorated it cutting all the adorable pieces from the "A7 Storefront Gingerbread House Add-on" die set and I colored them with alcohol markers.

For the sentiment I sie cut the two words from red metallic cardstock using the "Winter Essentials" die set from last year collection.

I put everything together and I added some snowfall Distress paste with clear rock candy Distress Glitter here and there to add a sparkle touch.

That's all for today. I hope you'll enjoy the card.

I wish you a faboolous Halloween. Big hugs, Silvia.

"BOO!" HALLOWEEN CARD WITH TIM HOLTZ

Hello there and welcome back to my blog! I have a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Halloween card to share with you today and I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Do you remember this background I post on my Instagram some days ago?

It turned out like this.

I love making Halloween cards and I was so in love with Stacy Hutchinson’s moon background (you can find her tutorial here) that I had to try to redo it.

For the color combo I chose black soot Distress Spray Stain and the burning ember  and harvest moon Distress mica stain by Ranger Ink.

I then created my scene mixing together the “Slimline Spooky Scene Builder” die set by Trinity Stamps and the “Gate Keepers” die by Tim Holtz/Sizzix, I ink blending all the pieces with weathered wood and black soot Distress Oxide inks and I applied on them some Distress grit paste-Crypt.

For the sentiment I used black cardstock, Crypt grit paste and a Hello Bluebird die.

Next I stamped the mummy from Stampers Anonymous “Unraveled“ stamp set, I watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real brush markers and I fussy cut it.

I put everything together and this is what it came out.

That's all for today. Thank you very much for passing by and I really hope you like this card.
I wish you an amazing day and send you big hugs. Silvia.
