WINTER WISHES WITH SCRAPPY TAILS CRAFTS

Hello my dear friends and welcome back to my crafty space! I'd like to share with you a Christmas card I made with a die set from the new release by Scrappy Tails Crafts.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it with tumbled glass, broken china, faded jeans and chipped sapphire Distress Oxide inks. I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inksa and white and gold acrylic paint.

I also added some texture on it spreading some snowfall Distress paste through on of the layer from the new "Christmas Party" stencil and I set it aside.

I then cut all the pieces from the beautiful "Layering Christmas Bug" die set and I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks (I used kitsch flamingo and lumberjack plaid for the car and mowed lawn and rustic wilderness for the trees).

To give a snowy effect to my scene I added some white Distress grit paste on the car and trees.

I die cut some snowy hills with a die from my stash and I put everything together.

For the sentiment I used an old but always so good die set called "Winter Essentials", I added some sequins from the "Holly Jolly Christmas" mix and that's all.

Thanks so much for passing by today.

I wish you an amazing day. Big hugs, Silvia.

IT'S PENGUINING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

Hi there! It's Sunday and this means it's time for a new The Rabbit Hole Designs card. Today's one is a Christmas card and I hope you'll enjoy it.

I started cutting a panel with the "You've Been Framed" die set and I ink blended it with the "Fiddlehead" stencil and abandoned coral and aged maoghany Distress Oxide inks.

I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints and I set it aside.

I then stamped images from the "Warm & Cozy", "Baby's 1st Christmas" and "Penguining" stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies (you can find them here, here and here).

I stamped the sentiment from the "Penguining" stamp set on my cardbase and I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

That's all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by.

I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.

A FALL FRIENDSHIP CARD

Hello crafty friends! I'm here today to share with you a Fall themed card I made mixing goodies from different brands.

Some days ago I watched a Nichol Spohr's video and I felt in love with the background she made. So I decided to recreated  a similar one using what I had in my stash.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it using the Heffy Doodle's "Broad Strokes" stencil.

I put it on my panel in horizontal and I ink blended it with old paper Distress Oxide ink. I then turned the stencil in vertical and I ink blended it always with old paper Distress Oxide ink.

I moved the stencil a bit and I made the same process this time with rusty hinge Distress Oxide ink.

I splattered with clean water and crooked broomstick and burning amber Distress mica stains and I let it dry.

I then stamped the "Farmhouse Check Background" stamp by Honey Bee Stamps in ground espresso Distress Oxide ink over my plaid panel and I darkened edges with walnut stain Distress Oxide ink.

I die cut a piece of kraft cardstock with the biggest die from the "Lovely Bracket" die set by Papertrey Ink and I ink blended in it in the middle with broken china and shabby shutters Distress Oxide inks.

I stamped images from the Pretty Pink Posh "Hedgehog Friends" stamp set in rich cocoa Memento ink, I colored it with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I fussy cut them.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added a sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh "Encouraging Greetings" stamp set.

That's all for today.

Thank you so much for stopping here.

I wish you a fantastic day. Big hugs, Silvia.

HELLO FALL WITH THE RABBIT HOLE DESIGNS

Hello there! like every Sunday, it's time for a new The Rabbit Hole Designs card.

I started cutting a panel from watercolor paper and I heat embossed in gold the beautiful "Falling Leaves"  stamp set. I did this twice and as you can see I made a mistake, 'cause I didn't realized that my panel moved a bit between the first stamp and the second.

Anyway, I decided to use it the same 'cause I liked how it turned out.

I first colored it with old paper Distress Spray stain and I dry it with a hot air gun. I then watercolored the leaves with my beloved Distress watercolor pencils and I set it aside.

I stamped one of the adorable foxes from the "Fall Foxes" stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I used the "Hello-Scripty Word with Shadow" die set to cut the HELLO word from brown cardstock and its shadow from vellum.

I put everything together usinga mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's all.

Thank you so much for passing by, I hope you like the card as much as I do.

I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.

HO HO HO! 'TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY

Hello there and happy Saturday! I'm here today to spread the love for the new Scrappy Tails Crafts release called "Christmas Party".

I started cutting a 5,5"x4,25" panel from white cardstock and I ink blended speckled egg Dsitress Oxide ink through the "Slimline Snowflake Corner" stencil on the right top of it to create a light background.

I splattered with clean water and speckled egg, picket fence and antique bronze Distress paints and I set it aside.

I then die cut the biggest penguin from the new "Layering Penguin Duo" die set from white and black cardstock, I colored details with alcohol markers and I put it together.

I also die cut some Christmas sweets with the "A7 Storefront Gingerbread House Add-on" set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I embellishes them with Distress Clear rock candy glitter.

I stamped one of the sentiment from the "Christmas Party" stamp set and I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

I added some sequins from the "North Pole Delivery" mix and that's all.

Thank you so much for passing by today. I hope you'll enjoy the card and this cute penguin soooooo much.

I wish you an amazing day. Big hugs, Silvia.
