"FALLING LEAVES" LAYOUT

Ciaooooooo!!! Il caldo non molla, nonostante qualche temporale, e così eccomi nuovamente qui con un nuovo layout (che dire....ci ho preso gusto), questa volta a tema autunnale (sarà il bisogno di un po' di fresco?!).
Hi there! Today I want to share with you a layout I made in this days using my Silhouette portrait.

In questi giorni sto anche riscoprendo un vecchio amore, la Silhouette (purtroppo la mia e solo una portrait, che però fa comunque perfettamente il suo lavoro).
Era da un po' che stavo pensando di rimetterla in funzione e finalmente mi sono decisa.
It's been a long time since I wanted to start using it again  (I put it aside for a veeeeery long time), and the other day was the DAY!

Nel layout che vi mostro oggi, ho provato a realizzare una "cornice" di foglie partendo dal file di taglio "Leaves Flea Market" di Doodlebug Design e seguendo questo tutorial della fantastica Caroli Schulz: le foglie non sono venute perfette (ho sbagliato a selezionare il tipo di carta da tagliare), ma per essere il primo esperimento di questo tipo posso ritenermi abbastanza soddisfatta.
After watching this great tutorial by the amazing Caroli Schulz, I decided making my own grid cut file for the scrapbook page that was in my mind.
In my case, I used the "Leaves Flea Market" cut file by Doodlebug Design instead of "bunny head" cut file.
My Autumn grid didn't come out perfect, but I love it a lot the same!

Ho scelto questo design per conservare una foto che Emma mi aveva scattato lo scorso autunno nel parco di St. James a Londra, in cui "gioco" con le foglie.
I used a photo of me playing with falling leaves in St. Jame's Park....perfect, isn't it?

Per la base ho usato la carta "Fresh Delivery" della collezione Cottage Life di 49 Market e ne ho sporcato lievemente il centro sfumandovi dello "Yeti Ink" di Lawn Fawn (che ho usato anche per aggiungere qualche goccia bianca alla fine).
Per le foglie invece ho usato alcune carte della collezione "Flea Market" della Doodlebug Design.
For the base I used a 49 Market blue cardstock (from the Cottage Life collection) that I "dirtied" in the middle with Yeti Ink by Lawn Fawn (I used it also for adding some white drops in the end), while for the leaves and photo I used Doodlebug Design papers from "Flea Market" and "Happy Harvest" collections.

Ed ecco il layout finito....che ne dite?
