HEFFY DOODLE AND MISS INK STAMPS BLOG HOP

Hello crafty friends!!!
Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Miss Ink Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop!  Design team members from both teams are sharing some crafty inspiration using products from both companies!  Plus, both stores will be giving away prizes!

I had so much fun mixing together Miss Ink Stamps and Heffy Doodle goodies that I made two cards to share with you.

Let's start from the first one.
I die cutting a 5,5" x 4,25" rectangle from white cardstock using the biggest die from the Heffy Doodle "Imperial Stitched" set, I ink blended it with tumbled glass, shaded lilac and wilted violet Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water, some tone on tone diluited inks and a bit of platinum Nuvo mousse (loosened with water).

I then stamped on it the backdrop stamp from Miss Ink Stamps "Woodland Heart" in a deep blue (I used chipped sapphire Distress Oxide ink). I also used the same color to stamp a sentiment from that stamp set and I heat embossed it with clear powder.

I stamped images from Miss Ink Stamps "Little Angel" and from Heffy Doodle "Wanna Build a Snowman" and "Santa's Village" stamp sets with black ink, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out.
I used the Heffy Doodle "Imperial Stitched" dies to cut off a white frame and I put everything together using a mix of liquid "Glubert" and foam tape.

For my second card I first die cut a stitched rectangle from kraft cardstock with the "Imperial Stitched" die set and I created a soft gold inked background using the "Candy Store" stencil by Heffy Doodle.

I then used "Lovely Little Border" die set to cut a white scalloped stripe and I blended edges with gold pigment ink and ground espresso Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped images from Miss Ink Stamps "Happy New Year" and Heffy Doodle " Absotoothly Awesome" stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's all.

  4. Oh, I adore the first card you made with the animals! What a super cool idea to put stockings hung off the cut branch placed in between the two trees. Love it! I also really think the sentiment on the second card about 2020 is most appropriate, although I think people the world over with be talking about it for some time. Merry Christmas to you!
