BOTTLE BRUSH CARROTS MANIA

 Hello crafty friends!

I was so fascinated by how Tim Holtz used the Stampers Anonymous "Bottle Brush Tree" stamp set to make some super cute carrots last Saturday that I became totally addicted to it.

And these are some of the cards I made using this technique.

For the first two I colored directly on the stamp with wet Distress watercolor pencils. It was the first time I've tried this and I had so much fun!

I started cutting two panel from Distress Heavystock cardstock and I stamped on them some of the stamps from the "Eccentric" set with ground espresso and vintage photo Distress archival inks.

I then stamped the carrots and added colors to the background with antique linen and vintage photo Distress spray stains.

I also stamped two single carrots that I fussy cut and I attached to the cards with some foam tape.

Here are some other photos of these two cards.

In the last card I stamped the "bottle brush carrots" in different Distress Oxide ink colors and then I splattered with clean water and tone on tone Distress paints.

You know, I dont't like eating carrots, but they're so darn cute to stamp and color.....I hope you'll enjoy these cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

I wish you an amazing day and I send you big hugs. Silvia.
