LIFE IS A STORY CARD WITH SCRAPPY TAILS CRAFTS

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to my blog! I'm here today to share with you a romantic card I made in collaboration with Scrappy Tails Crafts.

I started cutting a white panel and I softly ink blended it with old paper Distress Oxide ink. I splattered with clean water, tone on tone ink and white, gold and brown Distress paints.

I then die cut all the pieces to build up the beautiful book from the "A7 Open Book with Flower Bouquet" die set and I ink blended it with antique linen Distress Oxide ink for the pages and wilted violet and    Distress Oxide inks for the cover.

I then heat embossed in gold some of the awesome butterflies from the "Life is a Story" stamp set, I watercolored them with Distress watercolor pencils (I used candied apple, kitsch flamingo, salvaged patina and peacock feathers) and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I stamped one of the beautiful sentiment from the "Life is a Story" stamp set in brown and I put everything together with liquid glue.

I added some jewels from the "Purple Eggs-Travaganza" jewels mix and that's all.
