"PUMPKIN SPICE CHEERS" CARD FOR BUTTERFLY REFLECTIONS INK BIRTHDAY HOP

Hello and happy Friday.
Today I'm so excited to take part to the amazing Instagram hop organized by Butterly Reflections Ink. to celebrate Vanessa's birthday.

I know she loves pumpkin spice and fucsia so for this sweet occasion I decided to make this cheerful card, using one of my new favorite dies by Hello Bluebird Stamps ("Treehouse" die) and their cute critters from the "Leaf Play" stamp set.

For the background I opted for a pink sky blending together picket raspberry, worn lipstick and dried marigold Distress Oxide ink, that I then splattered with water, Lawn Fawn yeti ink and some indian gold Nuvo Mousse.

I really enjoyed myself a lot making this card and I'm so happy of the final result of it.

Now, if you'd like to hop with us and have some fun please go to my Instagram (Sivg76) and play with us.

Thank you for passing by taking a peek and have a lovely day.
Hugs, Silvia.

CHRISTMAS CARD SERIES 2019 #4: "SWEET CHRISTMAS WISHES"

Helloooo!!!
Today I'm back with a new Christmas card, the fourth of this year' series.
In this days I'm so crazy over Hello Bluebird Stamps new release, so for this card I used the adorable and super sweet "Cocoa Party" stamp set, the "Gallery Frame #4" and the "Snowy Sky Scene" dies.

I started by die cutting a white cardstock with the "Snowy Sky Scene" dies and I colored the sky with victorian velvet, seedless preserved, dusty concord and chipped sapphire Distress Oxide inks.
I then used the "Gallery Frame #4" die to die cut a piece of Lawn Fawn ground Coffee cardstock and I glued on a vellum sheet to create a window. I also added some "snow" on it using a white Uniposca.

I stamped my images with Memento black ink on a white cardstock, I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and added some highlights with my beloved white Uniposca extrafine ( I always had problems with white gel pen, but with this everything is easier).

I then assembled my card gluing my sky and snowy hills on my card base first and then my window on it and I added my images using liquid glue and foam squares.

Finally I stamped the sentiment on a tag, I blended it with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I glued to my card using some foam tape.
I wanted to give to the card a merry touch, so I decided to add a string of lights that I die cut using the "Treehouse Holiday Add-on" die and colored with alcohol markers.

I really love how this card came out and I hope you enjoy it too.
Thank you so much for stopping by to my blog and see you soon with a new cute project.

Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Silvia.

CHRISTMAS CARD SERIES 2019 #3: "SNOWFLAKES VINTAGE KISSES"

Hi friends and welcome back to my Christmas card Series 2019.
Today I want to share with you the second vintage look Christmas card I made following the incredible tutorial by Marine Simon.
For this card I played with some amazing products from the new release by Hello Bluebird Stamp: "First Snow" stamp set and "Winter Woods Overlay" dies.
I love the warm effect of the seppia, but this time I decided to add some more colors to create a happy atmosphere.

So I started stamping my images with Lawn Fawn "Crunchy Leaf" ink on "Vanilla Malt" cardstock and I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.
I also cut a 5,5"x4,25" from the same cardstock, I ink blended it with vintage photo and antique linen Distress Oxide ink and I stained the edges using walnut stain Distress Oxide ink pad directly on it.

I then die cut the Winter woods overlay and a hill from white cardstock and ink blended with vintage photo and antique linen Distress Oxide ink.
I stamped the sentiment using fired brick Distress Oxide ink and put all together using some liquid glue and foam squares.
I then added some snowflakes stamped with crunchy leaf ink and with a gold touch (I used a golden Uniposca to do it) in the middle  here and there.

Well, that's all for today.
Thank you so very much for passing to my blog today taking a peek.
I'll be back soon with a new Christmas card, 'till then have some great days.
Hugs, Silvia.

CHRISTMAS CARD SERIES #2: "MERRY CHRISTMAS CAROL"

Hi there!
Let's start a new week with a new Christmas card, the second of my first series.
This is a very simple and quick one, featuring the adorable singing mice from Hello Bluebird's "Merry Mice" stamp set.

As first thing I stamped the images I needed with Memento black ink and I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers ( I used GG4-GG3-GG2-GG1 for the mice and BG9-BG7-BG5 for the lamp).

I then used the Heffy Doodle's "Imperial stitched" dies to die cut three panels, one bigger and two smaller.
I cut the biggest and one of the smaller from Lawn Fawn "SnowDay remix" petite paper pack and the other one from white cardstock.
I distressed the patterned paper panel edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink.
I then created a stencil using La Coppia Creativa "Fiocco di neve 2" dies, placed it in the middle of my white panel and  did some ink blending with Lawn Fawn "Mermaid" dye ink.  I also splattered some clean water on it and some mermaid ink loosened with confetti white Perfect Pearls and a drop of water and I let it dry.

I ended my card putting all my pieces in place with liquid glue and adding some musical notes here and there and the sentiment from Hello Bluebird's "Cocoa Party" stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed this simple Christmas card 'cause I had a lot of fun making it.
Thank you so much for stopping by  and I wish you a very happy week.
Hugs, Silvia.

CHRISTMAS CARD SERIES 2019 #1: CRAZY FOR VINTAGE LOOK CHRISTMAS CARDS

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
Christmas is around the corner  and I need to make a lot of Christmas cards this year to spread some love around the world and I'd like to share them with you.
In this days I was so fascinated by Marine Simon's vintage look cards that I decided to try making some by my own.
So today I want to show you the first one, that's obviously a slimline card 'cause I can't stop playing with my new incredible dies by Trinity Stamps.

I started making my card die cutting all the pieces I needed: hills borders and trees from white cardstock and the scalloped rectangle from Lawn Fawn "Vanilla Malt" cardstock.

I then ink blended the long panel with antique linen, vintage photo and walnut stein Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with some water and with a bit of walnut stein ink loosened with a drop of water and I let it dry.

I also distressed trees and hills edges with antique linen and vintage photo Distress Oxide inks.

I then stamped my imges from the Trinity Stamps "Sleepy Hollow" stamp set with Lawn Fawn "crunchy leaf" ink on vanilla malt cardstock and I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I used TN9, DR7 and RB1 for the hat and TN5, TN3, GY2 and TN2 for the fox.

I add everything to my card base using foam tape and liquid glue and I stamped the sentiment from Trinity Stamps "Merry Christmas Senti-Mini" using fired brick Distress Oxide ink for the word "Merry" and Lawn Fawn crunchy leaf ink for the word "Christmas".

So this is my very first vintage look card and I'm so happy of how it turned out.

Thanks a lot for passing by today and I hope to see you soon 'cause  I can't wait to show you the second one I'm working on.
Hugs, Silvia.
