HELLO CARD WITH TIM HOLTZ

Hello and welcome to a new crafty week!!!

It's still a bit cold over here, but you can smell Spring everywhere and this makes me so happy and creative. So I'm challenging myself with some new techniques and I'm having a lot of fun!!!

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made with the amazing "The Park" die set by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. 

To create my background I used some of my new obssesions, like Distress Spray (both stain and oxide) and Distress embossing glaze and I'm so happy of how it turned out!

I started with a white rectangle panel and I sprayed it with water. I then added a bit of speckled egg  Distress spray stain and kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide spray (I used a hot air gun between every step).

I then added some crackling campfire embossing glaze using  Distress embossing dabber and a flower stencil (mine is from Newton's Nook).

The oval frame is a Mama Elephant die and I colored it with a mix of brown Distress Oxide inks, while for the gold effect I used Indian gold Nuvo mousse.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's all.

I colored my coffee cups with Karin Pro markers, while for my background I was inspired by one made by Debby Hughes, using Distress Grit-Paste, Distress embossing glaze and Distress spray stain and Oxide.

"HAPPY EASTER" WITH HELLO BLUEBIRD

 Hi there and happy Sunday!

Today I have a Easter/Spring themed card for you all featuring some cute stamp and die sets by Hello Bluebird.

I started making my card die cutting a stitched rectangle, a grassy border from the "Grassy Knoll" die and the "Oak Tree Scene" die tree from white cardstock. I then used a hill and a cloudy sky stencil to ink blended my card base (salty ocean and mermaid lagoon Distress Oxide inks for the sky and twisted citron, mowed lawn and ground espresso Distress Oxide inks for the grass). I splattered with clean water, white, blue, black and brown inks and Indian gold Nuvo mousse (loosened with water).

To color the tree I used vintage photo, walnut stain and ground espresso Distress Oxide inks and splattered with white Distress reinker.

Next I stamped images from "Jungle Littles" (flowers and leaves) and "Little Painters" stamp sets, I colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added a sentiment from the "Easter Egg Hunt" stamp set.

"BE THE GIRL WHO DECIDE TO GO FOR IT" WITH GRACIELLIE DESIGN

Hi there and happy Saturday!!!

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made with the new and so beautiful Graciellie Design digital stamp called "Thrive Succulents" .

I'm so happy of how it turned out and I totally fall in love with Distress spray stain and Distress Oxide spray making it.

I printed the succulents on watercolor paper, I colored them with Karin Pro markers, I fussy cut them out and splattered with picket fence Distress reinker.

I then die cut a stitched rectangle from watercolor paper and I created my background mixing together speckled egg Distress spray stain, kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide spray and ground espresso Distress ink.

I put everything together and added a sentiment from the stamp set.

"YOU BRIGHTEN MY DAY" WITH HELLO BLUEBIRD

 Hello my friends!!!! Spring is in the air, so today I'd like to share with you this sweet card I made with Hello Bluebird "Picked for you" stamp set.

To create the sky I used my favorite Distress Oxide inks color combo in these last months: speckled egg, peacock feathers and black soot. I then splattered with water, white and black ink reinkers and gold Nuvo mousse.

For the grass I used twisted citron, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks.

I then stamped images with Memento black ink, I colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out.

I heat embossed a sentiment in white and I put everything together.

"I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU" WITH TIM HOLTZ

Today I'd like to share with you a sweet Spring theme card featuring the super cute and addictive "Carrot Bunny" by Tim Holtz.

This time I combined them with Lawn Fawn "Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-on" die set and Heffy Doodle "Close the Gate" die set.

For my background I used my favorite Distress Oxide inks combo (speckled egg, peacock feathers and black soot) and I splattered with water, black and gold Nuvo mousses and a little bit of kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide reinker.

Sentiment is from one of my favorite stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh called "Encouraging Greetings".

I'm really having so much fun with these bunnies!!!

SENDING YOU A SMOOCH" WITH HONEY BEE STAMPS

 Hellooooo!!! Today I'm here to send you a smooch with this cute card featuring some stamp and dies by Honey Bee Stamps.

This time I made a square card and for my base I used a Spring patterned paper from an old pad by Doodlebug Design.

I then die cut three circles from white cardstock using an old Craftin' Desert Diva die set, a scalloped one and two stitched one.

I ink blended the one of the stitched circle with Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil and salty ocean and faded jeans Distress Oxide inks.

I then used a grassy border die to cut the second stitched circle and I ink blended it with twisted citron and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks.

I stamped the cute rancoon from the "Stolen my heart" stamp set, I colored it with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and I fussy cut them. I also die cut the script using the "Smooch (buzzword)" die set and I put everything together, using the "Smooch" stamp set to complete my sentiment.
