Hello peeps!!! I'm so happy to be here with you today sharing my very first card with the incredible "Shutter Card" die set by Lawn Fawn....woot-woot!!!!
I received this set last Christmas, but I was a bit intimidated by it and the amazing projects I saw around the web, so I put it aside. By the way, the other day I found the courage to give it a try and this is what I made....hope you'll like it.
I started stamping all the images I needed with Lawn Fawn "Crunchy Leaf" ink, I colored them with a mix of Spectrum Noir Illustrator and Triblend Brush alcohol markers and I cut them out. Images are from the following Lawn Fawn stamp sets: "Snow Much Fun", "Crazy Antics", "Super Star" and "Den Sweet Den".
I then die cut all the pieces to build up the card from dark blue cardstock and a created a starry sky on it using the "Starry Sky" stencil and "Yeti" ink, the both by Lawn Fawn.
I also die cut some "sandy" borders with the "Stitched Hillside Borders" and some palm tree with the "Tropical Backdrop" die sets, I colored them with Distress Oxide inks and I built my scene.
To decorate the front part of the card I used a patterned paper by Pebbles and I die cut a blue and two white stitched stars using the "Outside in Stitched Star Stackables" die set.
And that's my card.
Thank you so much spending your time with me today. I send you all big warm hugs and see ya soon.
Silvia.
